Interpretation-Ghazal-12
1.
I am pledged to passion and also my life is dear to me,
My duality is as if someone worship the lightning(Fire worshiper) and also regret the burning of harvest.
(My nature permits me neither to renounce passion, nor to renounce the love of life.The maker made me a union of opposites, and so I am in such a difficulty.)
2.
However, great your zeal may be in serving me wine,
My zeal in drinking wine is equally great.
(If you are the sea of wine,then I am the shore of that sea of wine, and the shore gets never filled in spite of the nearness of the sea but stretches in need for more.)
