Ghazal no.58

1.
حسن غمزے کی کشاکش سے چھٹا میرے بعد
بارے آرام سے ہیں اہلِ جفا میرے بعد
2.
منصبِ شیفتگی کے کوئی قابل نہ رہا
ہوئی معزولیِ انداز و ادا میرے بعد
3.
شمع بجھتی ہے تو اس میں سے دھواں اٹھتا ہے
شعلۂ عشق سیہ پوش ہوا میرے بعد
4.
خوں ہے دل خاک میں احوالِ بتاں پر یعنی
ان کے ناخن ہوئے محتاجِ حنا میرے بعد
5.
در خورِ عرض نہیں جوہرِ بیداد کو جا
نگۂ ناز ہے سرمے سے خفا میرے بعد
6.
ہے جنوں اہلِ جنوں کے لیے آغوشِ وداع
چاک ہوتا ہے گریباں سے جدا میرے بعد
7.
کون ہوتا ہے حریفِ مۓ مرد افگنِ عشق
ہے مکرّر لبِ ساقی میں صلا میرے بعد
8.
غم سے مرتا ہوں کہ اتنا نہیں دنیا میں کوئی
کہ کرے تعزیتِ مہر و وفا میرے بعد
9.
آئے ہے بیکسیِ عشق پہ رونا غالب
کس کے گھر جائیگا سیلابِ بلا میرے بعد

बारे आराम से हैं अहल-ए जफ़ा मेरे ब`द
2.
मनसब-ए शेफ़तगी के कोई क़ाबिल न रहा
हुई म`ज़ूली-ए अनदाज़-ओ-अदा मेरे ब`द
3.
शम`अ बुझती है तो उस में से धुवां उठता है
शु`लह-ए `इशक़ सियह-पोश हुआ मेरे ब`द
4.
ख़ूं है दिल ख़ाक में अहवाल-ए बुतां पर य`नी
उन के नाख़ुन हुए मुहताज-ए हिना मेरे ब`द
5.
दर-ख़वुर-ए `अरज़ नहीं जौहर-ए बेदाद को जा
निगह-ए नाज़ है सुरमे से ख़फ़ा मेरे ब`द
6.
है जुनूं अहल-ए जुनूं के लिये आग़ोश-ए विदा`
चाक होता है गरेबां से जुदा मेरे ब`द
7.
कौन होता है हरीफ़-ए मै-ए मरद-अफ़गन-ए `इशक़
है मुकररर लब-ए साक़ी में सला मेरे ब`द
8.
ग़म से मरता हूं कि इतना नहीं दुनया में कोई
कि करे त`ज़ियत-ए मिहर-ओ-वफ़ा मेरे ब`द
9.
आए है बेकसी-ए `इशक़ पह रोना ग़ालिब
किस के घर जाएगा सैलाब-ए बला मेरे ब`द

kaun hotaa hai ;hariif-e mai-e mard-afgan-e ((ishq
hai mukarrar lab-e saaqii me;N .salaa mere ba((d
8.
;Gam se martaa huu;N kih itnaa nahii;N dunyaa me;N ko))ii

Translation

1.
Beauty was freed by the puzzle of amorous glances after me,
At last the master of oppression are at comfort after me.
2.
No one remained worthy for the rank of enchanted,
There was a dismissal of fuss and coquetry, after me.
3.
When a candle goes off, then smoke arises,
The flame of love wearing black attire, after me.
(Mourner)
4.
The heart is blood,in the dust,at the situation of idols, means,
Their nails became needy of henna, after me.
(Grave)
5.
There is no suitable place for request, for the gem of tyranny,
The proud glance is displeased with kohl, after me.
(Glance of beloved) (Collyrium)
6.
Frenzy is,for the masters of frenzy, the embrace of farewell,
Tearing is automatically separated from the collar, after me.
(Sea-off, Leave-taking)
7.
Who is a peer of the man, killing powerful wine of love,
There is again and again on the lips of bartender,a challenge after me.
8.
I die of sorrow to the extent that there is not even a single person in this world,
Who would show kindness of condolence for love and faithfulness after me.
9.
At the helplessness of love, weeping starts,"Ghalib",
To whose home will the deluge of calamity go, after me.
