Ghazal no.22

1.
ہوس کو ہے نشاطِ کار کیا کیا
نہ ہو مرنا تو جینے کا مزا کیا
2.
تجاہل پیشگی سے مدّعا کیا
کہاں تک اے سراپا ناز کیا کیا
3.
نوازش‌ہاۓ بے جا دیکھتا ہوں
شکایت‌ہاۓ رنگیں کا گلا کیا
4.
نگاۂ بے محابا چاہتا ہوں
تغافلہاۓ تمکیں آزما کیا
5.
فروغِ شعلۂ خس یک نفس ہے
ہوس کو پاسِ ناموسِ وفا کیا
6.
نفس موجِ محیطِ بے خودی ہے
تغافلہاۓ ساقی کا گلا کیا
7.
دماغِ عطرِ پیراہن نہیں ہے
غمِ آوارگیہاۓ صبا کیا
8.
دلِ ہر قطرہ ہے سازِ انا ال بحر
ہم اس کے ہیں ہمارا پوچھنا کیا
9.
محابا کیا ہے میں ضامن ادھر دیکھ
شہیدانِ نگہ کا خوں بہا کیا
10.
سن اے غارت گرِ جنسِ وفا سن
شکستِ قیمتِ دل کی صدا کیا
11.
کیا کس نے جگر داری کا دعویٰ
شکیبِ خاترِ عاشق بھلا کیا
12.
یہ قاتل وعدۂ صبر آزما کیوں
یہ کافر فتنۂ طاقت ربا کیا
13.
بلاۓ جاں ہے غالب اس کی ہر بات
عبارت کیا اشارت کیا ادا کیا

हवस को है निशात-ए कार कया कया
न हो मरना तो जीने का मज़ा कया
2.
तजाहुल-पेशगी से मुदद`आ कया
कहां तक अय सरापा-नाज़ कया कया
3.
नवाज़िशहा-ए बे-जा देखता हूं
शिकायतहा-ए रनगीं का गिला कया
4.
निगाह-ए बे-मुहाबा चाहता हूं
तग़ाफ़ुलहा-ए तमकीं-आज़मा कया
5.
फ़ुरोग़-ए शु`लह-ए ख़स यक नफ़स है
हवस को पास-ए नामूस-ए वफ़ा कया
6.
नफ़स मौज-ए मुहीत-ए बे-ख़वुदी है
तग़ाफ़ुलहा-ए साक़ी का गिला कया
7.
दिमाग़-ए `इतर-ए पैराहन नहीं है
ग़म-ए आवारगीहा-ए सबा कया
8.
दिल-ए हर क़तरह है साज़-ए अन-अल-बहर
हम उस के हैं हमारा पूछना कया
9.
मुहाबा कया है मैं ज़ामिन इधर देख
शहीदान-ए निगह का ख़ूं-बहा कया
10.
सुन अय ग़ारत-गर-ए जिनस-ए वफ़ा सुन
शिकसत-ए क़ीमत-ए दिल की सदा कया
11.
किया किस ने जिगर-दारी का द`वा
शकेब-ए ख़ातिर-ए `आशिक़ भला कया
12.
यह क़ातिल व`दह-ए सबर-आज़मा कयूं
यह काफ़िर फ़ितनह-ए ताक़त-रुबा कया
13.
बला-ए जां है ग़ालिब उस की हर बात
`इबारत कया इशारत कया अदा कया

tajaahul-peshagii se mudda((aa kyaa
kahaa;N tak ay saraapaa-naaz kyaa kyaa
3.
navaazish'haa-e be-jaa dekhtaa huu;N
shikaayat'haa-e rangii;N kaa gilaa kyaa
4.
nigaah-e be-mu;haabaa chaahtaa huu;N
ta;Gaafulhaa-e tamkii;N-aazmaa kyaa
5.
furo;G-e shu((lah-e ;xas yak nafas hai
havas ko paas-e naamuus-e vafaa kyaa
6.
nafas mauj-e mu;hii:t-e be-;xvudii hai
ta;Gaafulhaa-e saaqii kaa gilaa kyaa
7.
dimaa;G-e ((i:tr-e pairaahan nahii;N hai
Gam-e aavaaragiihaa-e .sabaa kyaa
8.
dil-e har qa:trah hai saaz-e an-al-ba;hr
ham us ke hai;N hamaaraa puuchhnaa kyaa
9.
mu;haabaa kyaa hai mai;N .zaamin idhar dekh
shahiidaan-e nigah kaa ;xuu;N-bahaa kyaa
10.
sun ay ;Gaarat-gar-e jins-e vafaa sun
shikast-e qiimat-e dil kii .sadaa kyaa
11.
kiyaa kis ne jigar-daarii kaa da((v;aa
shakeb-e ;xaatir-e ((aashiq bhalaa kyaa
12.
yih qaatil va((dah-e .sabr-aazmaa kyuu;N
yih kaafir fitnah-e :taaqat-rubaa kyaa
13.
balaa-e jaa;N hai ;Gaalib us kii har baat
((ibaarat kyaa ishaarat kyaa adaa kyaa

Translation

1.
Eagerness has different varieties of joy of affairs,
If death is not there,pleasure of living is meaningless.
2.
What is the meaning of your deliberate ignorance,
How long head to toe coquetry it will be and in what form.
( Proud beauty )
3.
I am watching since long the improper generosities,
Why to complaint about painted accusations.
4.
I desire for a glance without hesitation,
I do not mind negligence in trial of endurance.
5.
Light from the flame of burning grass has a single breath,
I have no greed for the respect for chastity of love.
( One moment ) ( Fulfilling of promise )
6.
Breath is like waves of encircling delirium,
Then why to complaint for the indifference of bartender.
( Waves of sea )
7.
I have no pride of the perfume on the attire,
Then why to feel grief for the vagrancy of cool morning breeze.
8.
Heart of every droplet is the music of I am the sea,
I belong to that,and I am proud of that.
9.
What regard, I am the guarantor,see here,
Ransom has no meaning for the martyrs of glance.
( Worry )
( In ancient time,murderers used to get pardon by paying the price of blood.)
10.
Plunderer of article of love hear and hear again,
Sound is meaningless of defeat of glass like heart,
( Murderer of love )
( Broken heart )
11.
Who has put a claim for that endurance,
Then what is the value of tolerance in the heart of lover.
( Lover's tolerance power )
12.
Why the slayer is taking trial of patience for promise,
This infidel revolts are to snatch the energy.
( Calamity who finishes the power )
13.
This is the misfortune of heart "Ghalib", her every style,
Art of writing, gesture, coquetry, everything,you count.
