Interpretation-Ghazal-18


1.
In the world, even the easiest task is difficult,
Thus for a man to create human qualities and become a human is not all possible.
( A perfect human is one in whom divine morality be found.)

2.
It is clear that now my home will fall down from the excess of the water of tears,
And definitely will become a desert.
( Oozing=Dripping. To drip has a great deal of affinity for a house.)

3.
Alas,for the madness of ardor, that I myself go toward the beloved and seeing her glory, indifference, surroundings,
I say in my heart, why I even come here.
( Maybe this is just the nature of passion.)

4.
Seeing the power of the radiance of the beloved to create an ardor for sight,
Even the polish-line on the mirror want to become an eyelash.
( If I can not myself see like the eye of the mirror, then let me become a part of the seer.)
( The mirror as eyeball is quite established.)

5.
What can I say of how people happy of ardor are in the execution ground,
For them the sword emerging from the scabbard is the emerging of the moon of Id.
( Death anniversary of a Sufi Pir is called his wedding festival.)

6.
You deprived me of the joy of union,but I am not your ill-wisher,
Even now I give these blessings,may you ever flourish.
( Will the red blood of my wound help to color your garden.)

7.
Because he laments and complains that his enjoyment of suffering is complete,
The wounded heart joyously seeks to be plunged into the
salt-dish for to be more tasteful dish.
( It is left for us to decide.)

8.
The moment she saw the blood, she felt mercy,"What have I done",
When the deed has been irrevocably done,to feel mercy then,is that to repent quickly.
( What a study in the extraordinary power of speech.The quick repent is a taunt to beloved.)

9.
Being cut out,stitched up and later ripped apart into a rag,is the destiny of fabric,
And mad man often do tear off their cloths and die.
( Classic symptom of their condition.)
