Ghazal no.70

(1)
وسعتِ سعیِ کرم دیکھ کہ سر تا سرِ خاک
گزرے ہے آبلہ پا ابرِ گہر بار ہنوز

(2)
یک قلم کاغذِ آتش زدہ ہے سفحۂ دشت
نقشِ پا میں ہے تبِ گرمیِ رفتار ہنوز

वुसअत-ए सी-ए करम देख कि सर-ता-सर-ए ख़ाक
गुज़्रे है आबिला-पा अब्र-ए गुहर-बार हनूज़
(2)

यक-क़लम काग़ज़-ए आतिश-ज़दा है सफ़हा-ए दश्त
नक़्श-ए पा में है तब-ए गर्मी-ए रफ़तार हनूज़

vus((at-e sa((ii-e karam dekh kih sar-taa-sar-e ;xaak
guzre hai aabilah-paa abr-e guhar-baar hanuuz

(2)
yak-qalam kaa;Ga;z-e aatish-zadah hai saf;hah-e dasht
naqsh-e paa me;N hai tab-e garmii-e raftaar hanuuz

Translation


(1)
Look at the intense effort of generosity and favour, from one edge to another edge of the earth,
It possesses blisters on the foot, pearls scattering cloud, still.

(2)
Totally like paper burning in fire is the surface of the forest,
In the foot marks is the emerging heat of wave still.
