Ghazal no.51

1.
افسوس کہ دنداں کا کیا رزق فلک نے
جن لوگوں کی تھی در خورِ عقدِ گہر انگشت
2.
کافی ہے نشانی ترا چھلّے کا نہ دینا
خالی مجھے دکھلا کے بہ وقتِ سفر انگشت
3.
لکھتا ہوں اسد سوزشِ دل سے سخنِ گرم
تا رکھ نہ سکے کوئی مرے حرف پر انگشت

अफ़सोस कि दनदां का किया रिज़क़ फ़लक ने
जिन लोगों की थी दर-ख़वुर-ए `अक़द-ए गुहर अनगुशत
2.
काफ़ी है निशानी तिरा छलले का न देना
ख़ाली मुझे दिखला के ब वक़त-ए सफ़र अनगुशत
3.
लिखता हूं असद सोज़िश-ए दिल से सुख़न-ए गरम
ता रख न सके कोई मिरे हरफ़ पर अनगुशत

jin logo;N kii thii dar-;xvur-e ((aqd-e guhar angusht
2.
kaafii hai nishaanii tiraa chhalle kaa nah denaa
;xaalii mujhe dikhlaa ke bah vaqt-e safar angusht
3.
likhtaa huu;N asad sozish-e dil se su;xan-e garm
taa rakh nah sake ko))ii mire ;harf par angusht

Translation

1.
It is sad, that the sky made food of the teeth,
The people whose finger was proper for the necklace of pearls.

2.
It is enough of a gesture, of your not giving a ring,
Merely having shown me, at the time of departure,the finger.

3.
I compose "Asad" through the burning of the heart,effective and hot poetry,
So that no one would be able to put a finger on my writing.
