Ghazal no.20

1.
دوست غم خواری میں میری سعی فرماوینگے کیا
زخم کے بھرنے تلک ناخن نہ بڑھ جاوینگے کیا
2.
بے نیازی حد سے گزری بندہ پرور کب تلک
ہم کہینگے حالِ دل اور آپ فرماوینگے کیا
3.
حضرتِ ناصح گر آویں دیدہ و دل فرشِ راہ
کوئی مجھ کو یہ تو سمجھا دو کہ سمجھاوینگے کیا
4.
آج واں تیغ و کفن باندھے ہوئے جاتا ہوں میں
عذر میرے قتل کرنے میں وہ اب لاوینگے کیا
5.
گر کیا ناصح نے ہم کو قید اچّھا یوں سہی
یہ جنونِ عشق کے انداز چھٹ جاوینگے کیا
6.
خانہ زادِ زلف ہیں زنجیر سے بھاگینگے کیوں
ہیں گرفتارِ وفا زنداں سے گھبراوینگے کیا
7.
ہے اب اس معمورے میں قحطِ غمِ الفت اسد
ہم نے یہ مانا کہ دلّی میں رہے کھاوینگے کیا

दोसत ग़म-ख़वारी में मेरी स`ई फ़रमावेंगे कया
ज़ख़म के भरने तलक नाख़ुन न बढ़ जावेंगे कया
2.
बे-नियाज़ी हद से गुज़री बनदह-परवर कब तलक
हम कहेंगे हाल-ए दिल और आप फ़रमावेंगे कया
3.
हज़रत-ए नासिह गर आएं दीदह-ओ-दिल फ़रश-ए राह
कोई मुझ को यह तो समझा दो कि समझावेंगे कया
4.
आज वां तेग़-ओ-कफ़न बांधे हुए जाता हूं मैं
`उज़र मेरे क़तल करने में वह अब लावेंगे कया
5.
गर किया नासिह ने हम को क़ैद अचछा यूं सही
यह जुनून-ए `इशक़ के अनदाज़ छुट जावेंगे कया
6.
ख़ानह-ज़ाद-ए ज़ुलफ़ हैं ज़नजीर से भागेंगे कयूं
हैं गिरिफ़तार-ए वफ़ा ज़िनदां से घबरावेंगे कया
7.
है अब इस म`मूरे में क़हत-ए ग़म-ए उलफ़त असद
हम ने यह माना कि दिलली में रहें खावेंगे कया

ko))ii mujh ko yih to samjhaa do kih samjhaave;Nge kyaa
4.
aaj vaa;N te;G-o-kafan baa;Ndhe hu))e jaataa huu;N mai;N
((u;zr mere qatl karne me;N vuh ab laave;Nge kyaa
5.
gar kiyaa naa.si;h ne ham ko qaid achchhaa yuu;N sahii
yih junuun-e ((ishq ke andaaz chhu;T jaave;Nge kyaa
6.
;xaanah-zaad-e zulf hai;N zanjiir se bhaage;Nge kyuu;N
hai;N giriftaar-e vafaa zindaa;N se ghabraave;Nge kyaa
7.
hai ab is ma((muure me;N qa;h:t-e ;Gam-e ulfat asad
ham ne yih maanaa kih dillii me;N rahe;N khaave;Nge kyaa

Translation

1.
Friend in the effort of sympathy what you will narrate,
Will the nails not grow till the wound is healed.
2.
Indifference has crossed the limit patron of devotees ,how long,
I describe the state of heart,and what you will narrate.
( Madam )
3.
If respected preacher arrives with the open eyes and conscience spread on the path,
Somebody explain me,what I will explain.
( It is a taunt )
( Humble )
4.
Today I am going there decorated with sword and shroud,
What else excuses she will present to kill me.
5.
If the adviser has taken me into confinement,let it be,
Will I be refrained from this mannerism of frenzy of love.
6.
Why should I run away from the chain,I am the servant of lock of hair,
I am arrested in love ,why I should be scared of prison.
( Prisoner of hair )
( Fulfilling the promise )
7.
It is the famine of grief of love in this township "ASAD",
I agree to stay in Delhi,but what to eat.

( Whole life I ate only grief of love )
